Klar ist ein Raspi besser aber das ist mir zu viel Gefummel habe ja selber einen Raspi 1B hier. Für mich soll der the C64 Mini ja kein Ersatz für einen Echten C64 sein sondern nur vorübergehend bis ich wieder einen C64 habe und dafür reicht das teil halt. Habe gerade den neuen Vice 64 auf meinem PC ausprobiert dagegen läuft der the C64 eindeutig besser und runder.
Abraten würde ich jetzt niemanden davon sich einen the C64 zu kaufen da er halt ohne große Probleme sofort einsatzfähig ist. Das mit den D64 Images sind sie schon am Fixen.

THEC64 Update 7th September 2018
As we move forward with the new firmware, we can tell you a little more about what we have been doing behind the scenes!
Over the last week of work on the USB file management update, we've started to look at including support for additional C64 file types over .d64. We're having to rework the internal file management and user interface a little for this to be successful and simple to use. The product vision of THEC64 Mini is to be 'pick up and play', so we have to introduce these advanced features sympathetically, such that they do not intrude into the non-expert user's playing experience. Getting the balance right and creating a process that is as simple and easy to follow is one of the many challenges we've enjoyed working on in recent weeks!
As a bonus, we've also added support for sub-directories to help users organise files, a feature many customers have suggested would be really useful.
