Guten Morgen,
kleines Frägchen. Vielleicht habe ich auch nur was überlesen.
Wo gibt's denn das passende ROM? Oder kann ich nehmen, was ich möchte (auch das "freie")?

I have added an extra note to the rule notes:
3. Entries should use the latest kernel ROM as of 7th Sept (currently 920224) which can be found on the Mega65 file host: (https://files.mega65.org/html/…37-41f7-8a81-0254b1e09fb5). All entries will be tested against this version.
It's important we keep everyone on the same ROM as there are lots of new features in BASIC and even some differences to the memory map up in the $f700+ region that would affect ASM program start up.
Thanks
Damn, can't you tell me before ? I could have written a "guess the number" game then
Ok, now seriously ... Personally I think for a semi-professional coder with a full-time-real-life-job the time is/was too short ... also (only my 2cents) I hate developing in an emulator. I did some testing here and there but to dive into real game/tool/other development I would only use the real thing ...

You still have more than 12 hours!

Ok, got it
Congratulations for the - at least - second place!
That even works for both, Mega65 and the christmas magazine!

Ok, then I have to rethink the theme ... hmmmm ....
Which checksummer can I use?
Don't like to make typos
😁, but i think there will be a few more submissions. I read something about 27 people signed up. Even if most of them don't make it in rhe end, there will be more submissions as real programmers submit in the very last second 😊
I've seen a video of at least one other entrant. I'm curious as well!

Group meeting:
Project Manager: "Guys, we only have two days left before the deadline!"
Programmer A: "Maybe we should start coding after all?"
Programmer B: "Why? You just heard that we have two days left."
Two days before deadline is usually when the requirements start to show up.
Are there any news? I think that submissions with more than 3 games would be an success, because there is no real computer yet and only 3 months for development...
I think Shallan is streaming the results right now. I didn't see from the beginning, but if I understand correctly, there was just a single submission, a clone of Giana Sisters by Endurion.
Unfortunately there were only two actual submissions. One was Mega Sisters, and the other "An unnamed game" by Geehaf. That looked really really great, but was not fleshed out to a full game.
Here's the compo release, with the score bug fixed.
PS: Could we have .d81 as allowed extension?

Wow, what a great game. I am so happy. Thank you so much for this.
