Alles anzeigenHey Kim, nice cart
Just chatted with Gideon - he wrote:
"Maybe you can ask the developer of that Kung Fu flash card what it expects on the bus."
Plus: "Because in order to have a turbo mode at all, there is a new component in 1.34; the bus bridge; which does not exist in a C64."
Thanks .
It is true that the Kung Fu Flash is close to the timing limit of the C64 so if the U64 has stricter timing requirements, it will not work. Regarding the blinking LED: KFF requires a stable C64 PAL clock before it will release the reset signal.
Well... would you consider getting in touch with Gideon?
If he has some questions, I'm happy to answer them, but since there are other features I'm already working on, I will not actively pursue this now.

Instant access to the previously flashed cart at powerup with zero loading time and also instant saving of progress / scores to that flashed cart if the game supports it. You only have to confirm writing back to the original image when you flash a different one. On the U64 e.g. if you want to save on an Easyflash File you have to rename and save manually everytime you exit the game. Though it could become easier with future U64 firmware updates i like the simplicity of the KFF. At the moment it sits permanently in my C64GS

This is great!
In attachment you have my game wishlist to be converted to MagicDesk 64 CRT format in Excel format in alphabetical order.
List is big, but it covers - more or less - all best tape games still missing in your collection
The Joker,
Ever heard of brand new OneLoad64 Game collection?
You have link to download collection below YouTube movie.
It's similar project to yours - for now it contains 520 unpacked 64K PRG files started immediately!
Not just that - all 520 games are arranged in TCRT and D2EF format too, there are also standard crunched PRG versions of games, plus it has other goodies too.
Compatibility of these unpacked 64K PRG files are poor on KFF cartridge, but probably you can convert these unpacked 64K PRGs to MagicDesk64 CRT format
Keep us informed if you can convert them!
Nice......

Great!. I have released a new version where the initial programming speed is improved.
Cartridge PCB made right. Hard gold and beveling on edge connector.
One going for free to kim_jorgensen as gift for the effort.
Waiting for the last components to arrive. Also got a stencil for soldering.
would the hardware actually allow to implement EXOS Cartridge Format?
Do you mean with the possibility to replace the kernal? There are no available pins to connect to the HIRAM wire to so you would need to make modifications to the hardware for this to work.
This is great!
We can choose easy now in Menu screen (F5) to automatically boot disk images.
