I'm making good progress, it looks better, plays a whole lot better and it even sounds better (or the sound drives you nuts)
There is no christmas theme for this, is there?
Also, in your cactus game, why not use CHARDEF? It's pretty nifty

No, the games don't have to be Christmas-themed this time
As for CHARDEF, in fact I did use it - I just wanted to provide a possibility to change the graphics easily within the source code

The theme is completely free.
The only condition is that there is at least one cactus in the game.
An european or african cactus?
On the MEGA65 BASIC programs are sadly limited to 65536 lines.
Same as maximum row count in excel before version of 2007. Sounds less in both cases, but enough in most practical cases I think
Ist ja irre, die haben dieses 63999-Limit auf 65535 hochgedreht
Hi there!
So far, there have been a few submissions, but not enough yet to fill a magazine. The deadline is end of September, but it might get moved towards the end of the year. If you find yourself not knowing what to do with your MEGA lately, please consider creating a nice BASIC game or otherwise fun program for others to type in from a real printed paper magazine
I wish I could get back into "motivation mode"
I just got my mojo back! Made a first entry for the mag, so joyful - and will produce more (unless dr_wuro is harsh to me).
Hey, everybody - let's produce some small nice programs. It's fun and having the mag will be fun again (win-win !
cheers

If anyone still needs some inspiration - it doesnt' have to be anything complicated, even simple programs can be a lot of fun. Maybe check out these videos (if you haven't yet) to get inspired:
Just for heads up, I've made a start on my entry. Will hopefully wrap it up in a day or two and then submit
Seeing tomorrow is December 1st and that MEGAZINE is slated for this Christmas, what's the latest about it? Is the plan still to print it and distribute it across our home planet before Santa takes off?
The MEGAZINE is, contrary to the other magazines, not Christmas-themed nor planned for Christmas; since there aren't that many submissions yet I assume the MEGAZINE will be further delayed until enough material is there.
I think this is a great idea! Can we still submit programs?

I guess so...
