I Finished Building my ATX64 – Let's Have a Look at it!

Ist schon klar, Masse ist 4x vorhanden, und +5V sind doppelt ausgelegt.
Wenn man also 4 Pins sparen will bleibt gar nicht anderes übrig als sowohl die Masse,
als auch +5V jeweils auf 1 Pin zu reduzieren.
Aber gerade im Zusammenhang mit einem Flachbandkabel würde ich nicht unbedingt
die Masse reduzieren wollen.
Selbst die +5V Versorgung sehe ich da kritisch, immerhin kämen durch denn X-Pander
2 weitere Module dazu, und die Logik auf der Weiche braucht auch Spannung.
Für Einzel-Module mag das noch passen, aber alles darüber hinaus wird wohl wackelig.
War aber nur eine kleine Anmerkung, das theoretisch auch sowas möglich wäre.

Und wenn man Masse und 5V separat zuführt? Dann muss das nicht alles über eine dünne Ader im Flachbandkabel.

jedenfalls hab ich mein Konstrukt heute mal verbaut:
ich hab ja das ATX-Board mit gleich 7 Steckplätzen ..ändert aber glaub nix an der Position des Slots auf dem Board
da dann also die Karte mit "nur" der Wannenleiste rein
und im untersten 3,5"-Slot dann der Rest
EF3 funktioniert zumindest mit einem ca. 25cm - Kabel
..bin soweit zufrieden
allerdings liegen dort vorne dann tatsächlich nur noch 4,88V an ..ich muss mal das Netzteil ein wenig "pimpen"
edit: aber jetzt muss ich mich erstmal auf die Sommer-Competition konzentrieren
Pat Power..immerhin hab ich jetzt ein gut funktionierendes System am Start

The LED on the keyboard lites on, but I can't type any thing ....
Talking about uMAX64 board ...
i have to addmit that I still after 6 months don't know of all the jumpers on the board

this is my PS/2 Keyboard-Switcher PCB ..from Matthias
works really fine with all PS/2 Keyboards, I tested
the most Problem is the MT8808/8809 ... try another
AND!
..on the first PCB there was a typing-error: the PCB says using ArduinoMicro with 3,3V / 8 MHz ...but correct is: 5V / 16MHz

But I soldered the PS2 connector on the VIDEO/SERIAL board ...
I tryed to explain it to matthias ... but he didn't understand me what I meaned ...
So If I don't have the board I can't connect the PS2 key ???

Sorry, I don't know the atxboard, but I think, this is a S-Video Connector and is not a PS2-Keyboard Connector.

The last one on the bottom is a PS2 connector .... I could solder an USB, but didn't understand the back of it and if I have to solder some wires somewhere ...
Yes it is the green one, hat is what I had at home ....

OK, it's no problem ordering the boradr and assemmbling it, but ... why is the port on the "expansion card" with the floppy and video controller ...
Think that the port is useless on that board then ....
Have to addmit that I tested the C64 keyboard and all worked with it, but trying to put it in a PC case, and then it's useles without the keyboard card ...

yes, the "new" Video/Serial - Board has this place, but like SkulleateR said: it will work ONLY, if you got the Adapter-Card too
