Nexys4DDR board with OpenRoms

Hi,

I downloaded the ROMs and the Nexys4DDR bitstream and put them on an SD card, but when I turn on, the 8 digit displays start at "4000 0000", then drop to "0100 0000", the busy light flashes like mad, and the display is a scrolling mess of green patterns that change every second.

If I flick switch 7 I can get a solid colour image (usually blue, but sometimes pink).

It's been a while since I tested a M65 core (and that was before the Open Roms project), so it'll probably be the case that I've set the SD card up wrong.

The bitstream file I was using was "nexys4ddr-widget-20200624.00-HEAD_n-4a8842d+DIRTY.bit" from the "stable_base/18-4a8842d" folder and the roms from "36-b725711"

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Just an reply to say it's loaded and sat at Ready. Though I was expecting to be able to type using a keyboard plugged in the USB port, I'm sure that used to work, or am I just mis-remembering?

It could be the type of keyboard I'm using too. I'll see if I've got any older ones lying around still, as I think most keyboard support was through PS/2 rather than USB IIRC.

Can joysticks be wired directly to Pmod pins, or do I need that full widget board?

Tempting, though depending when you get to this, if the consumer production is nearby, I'd just pick a full unit over the widget board. But I'll definitely keep an eye out.
