20 - 100 Euro....
Well the highest I have seen for a mod is the C64P from Rod at the futurewas8bit. I think 699gbp. He takes a 64dtv and builds it into a laptop case.
The smarter looking mods go for upto 150 euros. Built into a metal case with:
. Colour fix
. S-video mod (and output+audio )
. Keyboard connector (ps2
. IEC connector
. 2x sub-D joystick connectors
. Buttons (reset, a-d)
. Power in as barrel jack
. SJiffydos
At some point, if the prices for modified C64DTV skyrock like that, maybe a Chameleon 64 might be also an option, since it can be used both as a standalone C64 and also in combination with a real C64 (but *not* with a C128).
Taking the previous list , the Cham standalone can:
+ VGA
+ Keyboard connector PS2
+ 4x sub-D joystick connectors (with the "docking station")
+ Buttons (reset, a-d)
+ Power with a 5V USB switch power adapter
+ SJiffydos
- IEC connector (but D64 & co instead)
Thank you boys.
Really I need not laptop (I saw C64P) and also Chameleon.
For me is enough DTV with PS/2 keyboard and IEC port. If is possible to add JiffyDOS it can be nice.
