C65 ROM (911001) Memory Map

  • Since a few months I'm playing around with the C65 ROM and make some entries about it in my private notebook now and then.

After collecting more and more infos about the ROM, I began to list them in a table and sort them to the relevant memory areas. :rasen

If you are interested in the (still unfinished) memory map of the C65 ROM (911011), you're welcome to download the current PDF from my little 65site:

Please be aware that I don't take any warranty for correctness of the map and in 35 pages of a table typos are normal and human. :search:

Also note that the map is far from being completed (we are talking about 131.072 bytes only in the C65 ROM besides the used bytes in the the RAM). Enhancements and extensions are made gradually and you can always download the latest map on my website. I will also write here in this thread, if a update is available.

And if you aren't interested in the C65 or MEGA65 at all, you can at least watch a clock with date in hex format at my website as a little gimmick (it's not a continuous clock, but only showing the current date and time in hex codes after loading or refresh the site). :D

  • unfortunately i am down with a cold since friday already, but i couldn't resist to have a small peek into your website already.

It looks great and i love the hex clock !

i will forward the link to the memory map to our document guys and ask them to implement and compare with our manual

    Thanks Snoopy

Today I updated the map (to 2020/11/01) on the website. You still find the map here for download:

    - The BASIC 10 ROM section now has 4 pages. More to come ... :wurm:

    - I also added a PayPal donate button on the webpage. Just in case ... :)

The coffee consumption increases significantly when I work on the memory map at night. :D

I'll keep working on the map as time allows. :rasen

  • I like statistics, even the "useless" ones ... :D

The current version (2020/11/09) of the memory map is now one month online and was downloaded from 31 different devices so far.

Many thanks for your interest on the map!

The webhoster offers me this results of the 31 download weblogs:
