Hi guys.
You can set RTC using the Configurator or the SET RTC program.
I am also attaching a version of GEOS modified to show time from RTC.
Cheers.

Hello guys, I got an sd2iec with LCD display and ATMEGA1284 , I'm currently using the firmware 2.18 , is there a new firmware version over the 2.18 ? Many thanks!
Some firmware has strange numbering. But you can send the command "x?" from the C64 to the sd2iec and look at the error channel. It should tell you which variant of the firmware is installed.
99% sure it's a larsp variant.
I have made a release in github:
https://github.com/markusC64/sd2iec/releases
Well, in case of problems, I can just make another release. But feedback is positive
Can you send me a private message?
I have a few more questions.
Thanks for the clarification.
This is more complicated than I thought.
Can you post the current BIN for larsp?
I will send it for testing.
Thanks.
Hi markusC64.
I received information that the larsp version does not work properly.
Please disable RTC in config-larsp:
In the larsp version, the LCD uses the same pin as the RTC, which causes a conflict.
You can also remove the config-lcd variant.
This is an older version of larsp and is not revelant anymore.
Additionally, please increase the version number to 1.0.2 and increase this number after each major update.
It would be nice to know if I have the latest firmware just by looking at the screen.
Thanks.
Alles anzeigenI would appreciate if this variant was included in future updates.
Can you please check whether I managed to apply your changes to my repository (except the configs/variants.doc update)? Here is my URL: https://github.com/markusC64/s…g_thierer_merge_lcd_poldi
And here is the automatically created build: https://github.com/markusC64/sd2iec/actions/runs/6788635248
Since not everyone has a github account, I'll attach the binary that github generated.
Note that this build has been done from the testing branch where I (hopefully successfully) merged thierer 's changes.
Edit: Do you think that the same changes also work (or may also work) for my testing_thierer_merge_lcd branch?
Edit 2: The ZIP file contains builds for many sd2iec variants. You can also try it if you don't have a sw3
Thank you for your hard work.
SW3 works great.
LCD connection:
RS - PB0
R/W - PB1
E - PB3
D4 - PD0
D5 - PD1
D6 - PD3
D7 - PD4
RTC connection:
SCL - PC4
SDA - PC5
The RTC used is DS3231 powered by 3.3V.
You also need to flash the new bootloader.
I am sending the bootloader and firmware file in the attachment.
I made my own version of the SD2IEC-LCD hardware based on the SW2 variant, which I called SW3.
It has small pinout changes and enabled RTC.
I would appreciate if this variant was included in future updates.
Thanks.
Hi.
How to compile SD2IEC firmware on windows 10?
I am getting this error:
Hi.
Is RTC in SD2IEC useful?
What programs support it.
Will it work with GEOS?
Alles anzeigenThis release contains:
- support for Hypraload fastloader
- support for Ultraboot fastloader
- support for extended .d64 images (40 tracks)
All from:
https://github.com/thierer/sd2iec/tree/more_fastloaders
Other:
- more reliable Sleep function and changed message on LCD, when device is in sleep state
- no more READY in line 2 with XT1, XT2 and XTC commands
- no more flickering READY with some fastloaders
Wow!
Good to see support for new fastloaders.
Hi.
I noticed that for the larsp version, LCD and SOFTI2C use the same pins.
And if RTC is enabled in config then LCD doesn't work.
It would be good to move SOFTI2C to other pins.
Probably in other versions as well.
config-larsp doesn't work but I compiled config-lcd and it works great with larsp hardware.
Cheers.
So ... Finally, I managed to combine both versions in a single, which supports Arduino and other HW versions. in /bin are only binaries for Arduino, tested and work fine for me.
Other HW versions are compiled fine and produce the same .hex files, such as the last SyOlli version, but I do not have the appropriate devices for test.
Enjoy.
Thank you for your hard work.
Can you compile a BIN for the larsp version?
I'd like to try it out.
Thanks.
Hi.
I noticed that the new Firmware for SD2IEC is out.
Changes in sd2iec-1.0.0atentdead0-28-gdc3c199:
https://sd2iec.de/nightlies/ch…tentdead0-28-gdc3c199.txt
Can anyone compile an LCD version for the larsp variant?
Also, please increase the maximum number of partitions.
For some reason it's only two partitions for larsp.
Thanks.
