Zur Info: Auf der Las Vegas Commodore Expo 2011 wurde eine neue Audio Digitizer Cartridge vorgestellt und dazu das Programm Digimaster 64. Ich habe hier im Forum noch nichts dazu gefunden. Preis/Leistung ist mit 25 US$ denk ich auch OK.

Ich besitze zwar den Commodore Sound Sampler, und das ist ja eher ein Spielzeug. Aber diese Cartridge/Software klingt schon interessant:

Joh, hab mir das letztens mal angeschaut.
Ist letztendlich nur eine Spielerei, aber bei dem Preis werd ich mir das wohl leisten.

die hardware ist sehr simpel, und qualitativ nicht besonders gut. (ich meine nicht den aufbau sondern die vom ad wandler zu erwartende samplequalität). "neu" ist die übrigens mitnichten, die wurde ~1986 schon in einem magazin veröffentlich die schaltung

die software dazu wäre 1986 auch bestimmt der totale knaller gewesen (mit dem 8bit sample abspielen). heutzutage würde ich aber dann doch spätestens wenn man mehr machen will als einfach nur was aufzunehmen und direkt wieder abzuspielen irgendein beliebiges wave editor program auf dem pc nehmen, aus mannigfaltigen gründen. (oder aber wenn es wirklich auf dem c64 sein soll, den editor der mal in der input64 war, das ist mit abstand der beste den ich bisher gesehen habe).

ich persönlich finde ja das cartridge gehäuse und dessen mutmassliche geschichte das interessanteste an dem ganzen ding

The Digimaster 64 software was developed in the early 1990's by Chris Brenner of Autumn Technologies. Digimaster 64 was a commercial program but is now released as donationware. It uses a GUI interface and looks very much like that from an Amiga GUI. It saves its 8-bit samples in a format that Chris calls "Digimaster IFF".
