Thank you Wins4, I didn't think to check the Github *facepalm*

Very important in RAD-Doom: don't press f7! That triggers a reset.

By the way, the display size can be reduced in the game with - (minus). On the other hand, + does not work for enlarging. But this can be changed again via the in-game menu, which is opened with . Here you can even set that the entire screen (without border) is used to display the gameplay. *

It is controlled in the menu via @ (corresponds to cursor up) and ; or Cursor Down (corresponds to both cursor down) or I[ /tt][tt]JKL as "cursor control pad" to navigate to the respective menu item, and J and [tt ]L[/tt] (left/right) or RETURN (corresponds to L, i.e. "right" or "increase") to switch between the respective options. With you can return to the game. However, the IJKL keys only work in the menu if keyboard control is set (with f3  switches between mouse and keyboard, which in turn can also be done in the menu). BTW, a 1351 mouse (or compatible) is only supported on port 2 (if you haven't had time to read the README).;)

    * With "Fullscreen" I sometimes had the problem (so not directly reproducible) that the mouse left/right or J / L got stuck in a certain area. When the "limit" was reached, the graphics jumped back, so that only a certain angle range was displayed in this way as long as I didn't move forwards or backwards.

Sorry if I missed the obvious, but where can I download RAD-Doom from?

Thanks for this update, are you still working about scpu implementation?

I think I never said that I'm working on a SCPU implementation  I have not looked too closely, but as far as I can tell this is really A LOT OF WORK, with probably very little practical use. A 6510 accelerator does make more sense imho (if we can speak about "making sense" when referring to 40 year old computers). Of course it would be nice to see Metal Dust on a real C64 (or what's left of it then)...

I can't see it being worth the time and effort to make a SCPU clone, so little software was written to take advantage of the features.

However a Turbo 6510 sounds like a good alternative. Especially so if games like Mario Bros could use it as they do the 2MHz mode when run a C128 in C64 mode.
