The Nexys A7 board gives full VGA support.
Whenever we test a new bitstream, every teammember, that owns a Nexys A7, tests the Bitstream on his/her equipment at home.
So we try to get a high variety of different monitors, to see, that the bitstream runs on all our platforms (Nexys, R1, R2, Phone), with all available video signal outputs, analog and digital video, on as many displays as possible.
Anyway, Paul is adjusting the digital Video at the moment, so it could be, that the analog (VGA) output of certain bitstreams could be affected as well. We would appreciate, if you would report back, in the case you encounter problems. (What bitstream and what display/resolution did you use). This really helps us !

This is gorgious and fits perfectly the Mega65. You need an DVI->VGA plug.

I'm curious about: Your monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Hasn't the C65 only maximum 640x400 pixels? 
Does the Mega65 have 1920x1200 or do it scale up the picture?

C65 goes up to -> 1280 x 400 (Interlaced)
I just try to get my arrived Nexys board running, but it seems there is a problem with my (very) old VGA monitor.
It's a Belina 1905 G1 and regarding to this specifications:

It has a maximal resolution of 1280 x 1024 with 60 Hz.
Connected to the Nexys board it only shows some flickering (see attached photos):
In the OSD info, it says that the resolution is only 640x480 pixel.
In the manual of the monitor ( https://www.manualslib.com/man…elinea-1905-G.html#manual ) I can't find an info how I can switch the resolution.
Is all correct with the settings on the Nexys board?

Welchen Bitstream verwendest Du? Ich habe auch das Problem mit der Auflösung 640x480, wenn ich den aktuellen Bitstream aus 12/2019 verwende. Im Moment läuft mein Board mit dem Bitstream aus 03/2019. Der läuft tadellos.

Ich kann es ja mal mit einem anderen probieren, woher hast du deinen?
Ich bin hier nur etwas "übervorsichtig", da ich das Board nicht gleich am ersten Tag schrotten will.
Mit dem Bitstream "nexys4ddr-widget-20190314.09-develo-0b33a6c+DIRTY.bit" klappt es!

Danke! Ich habe die Verlängerung raus und es mit microSDHC-Karten probiert.
Mit einer 16 GB microSDHC von Paradies (vom DM-Markt) ging es auch nicht.
Mit einer 32 GB microSDHC von Sandisk (Link) funktioniert es nun und ich konnte die Karte mit dem Nexys formatieren. Da mache ich dann später mit weiter.
Jetzt muss ich erstmal weg, werde aber sicherlich bald wieder Fragen haben.

Ja, die habe ich alle ausgeschaltet. Es lag dann an der SD-Kartenverlängerung. Jetzt bin ich soweit, dass die SD-Karte vom Nexys formatiert worden ist.
