Seems like a great device. Just ordered one via eBay. What about the game save/hiscores save for EasyFlash games? It it supported?
Yes, it can.

Out of these 462 Disk2Easyflash games I found so far 12 that work as D2EF, but not working good as D64/D81.
Here you have both versions of these 12 games:
Wow! Thank you for testing all these games and making these nice collections
This link does not work anymore so can you list the releases instead or upload elsewhere? I would be interesting to see why these do not work.
I found one Easyflash game so far that work flawlessly with Easyflash 3 cartridge, but not with Kung Fu Flash cartridge - It's Magic 1 & 2:
https://csdb.dk/release/?id=181430
Platforms for jumping don't exist or they garbled.
My guess is that the game does VIC-II reads from the cartridge and support for this had to be disabled to implement EAPI support (EF save), see #308. If you start the game in VIC-II/C128 mode via the options menu the game will work fine, but save will be disabled.
The zippyshare links works fine. But Zippy is using geoblocking. You need a VPN or VPN browser addon to download it.
How did you print and affix the label?
The label was just printed on plain paper with a color laser printer, and transparent tape was added to make it more resilient. Normal paper glue was used to make it stick
Is there anyway to easily get this to work with jiffydos? Unfortunately, my c64 has a kernel switcher installed that is wired to the restore button on bootup. So everytime i use KFF , I have to remember to hold down restore... And I usually forget most of the time.
Is it only the disk emulation (D64 files) that doesn't work with JiffyDOS? I don't own a C64 with JiffyDOS but I guess it would be possible

Actually, I haven't tested D64 with it yet. It was only easyflash emulation so far. I was using the Disk2EF files provided by CommFor actually. Is there anything I can do to assist in fixing it?
Did anyone try the EXCESS EasyFlash releases on a KFF ? Any issues ?
All Excess releases working, except few sub-games on Ski or Die - Downhill Blitz and Half Pipe - when going practice.
Interestingly, Ski or Die working flawlessly in Skate or Die & Ski or Die Easyflash collection also done by Excess.
I didn't find any other problems on all other Easyflash releases.
Hi CommFor
Which tool did you use for D2EF back to D64/D81 conversion and where are these 462+216 D64/D81s? (in Kung Fu Flash Nirvana v1.0 collection?)
D2EF to D64 program by Evie Salomon:
Got the cartridge today from eBay (GB). It is the best module currently available
It's not.
Backbit cartridge is similar product to KFF, but it also NTSC compatible, can read SID and KLA files, it has his own BBT format, it's also diagnostic cart, can read directly EF and D2EF files (no need for flashing), it's even simpler to work on it than on KFF, it can directly rip and burn D64 to discs and opposite on C64 alone with BB firmware, compatibility with disc games is much better, plus other goodies.
We're talking 885 disc games playable on BB against 657 (minus D2EFs not compatible with D64/D81 format) playable on KFF at the moment of writing.
Yes, it has problem with reading many Easyflash releases, but Evie is working on it.
Support from Backbit creator Evie Salomon is unbelievable - she updates BB firmware few times per week.
Yes, it's more expensive.
What can I say?
If you have another C64 with empty cartridge port, buy this also if you can

Did you solve issue with Zippyshare download?
If you're not, advice me where is good server to put this file for temporary use.

Right, the Backbit cartridge is also good, but for me with 100€ + Shipping to expensive
I'm very happy at this moment with the KFC and my changes... but I think I will make my own Cart. Because I have different ideas about how I want to use it
My Cart will have no EF3 support (obsolete with SDCard in my opinion), but some nice other features, not only on the software side, but also especially on the hardware side -> easy, easier, the easiest.

Actually, it's 99 USD, but shipping is of course expensive to get it in Europe.
If you want to go your own Cart route without Easyflash support, disc compatibility issues and loading speed are main problems to solve.
That means 1541 disc fast-loader routines should be emulated very well with your Cart, and there are really many of them.
If you can implement Epyx Fastload or similar to greatly boost loading times in Cart firmware, that would be also great. Actually, a must.
I found another 14 games that work as D2EF, but not when converted to D64/D81.
Some really great games included.
So, here it is - second part of problematic ones:
http://www83.zippyshare.com/v/hESroQNp/file.html
I think I nailed them all - 26 of them.
If some of them can't be fixed, we will leave them in collection as D2EF files, but it will be better to have them all as D64/D81 files.
There's also issue with few games having Triad intro (it crashes if you don't press space in intro to continue loading in first few seconds).
Did someone wants to check this too?
These 462 disc games in D2EF format are not the only one working with Kung Fu Flash cartridge.
KFF cartridge has much better compatibility then D2EF format, so I have 216 disc games more that work with KFF!
They also loading very fast, same as D2EF games.
I tweak collection, now it's 462+195 games, but it's still great improvement over D2EF compatibility.
Only few of D2EF games in collection don't have very fast speed of loading, like Three Stooges or Thunderblade.

Not really, unless you are able to debug the problem . I'll need to get a C64 with JiffyDOS to make any progress with this.

I'm working on D64 save support at the moment so it may take a while before I'll have the time to look into this. It would be appreciated if somebody else would investigate why these fails

D2EF to D64 program by Evie Salomon:
Yes I had noticed that tool before, but when I saw the readme file saying "Built for Mac OSX, may require modifications for Windows use" I had to pass it.
Hello my friends,
I have build two of the Kung Fu Flash cartridges. After programming them with a ST-LINK v2 they seem to work. I place them in my C-64 and a screen appears, asking me to place a formatted SD card.
When I do so, the sd card seems not to be found. Nothing happens.
The Sd card is fine, I use it in another (pre-assembled) Kung Fu Flash.
I have checked the connections of the SD-slot with a microscope, they are all fine
Has anybody any idea whan might be wrong?
Best regards,
Bram
Is the SD card formatted fat32 ? Some SD cards do not work properly with the original formatting. Use the Fat32Formatter.
Does it work with any different SD card? If KFF cart boots up it should be OK. It can be the sd slot itself broken, or the soldering job...
