Hi,
I tried to build a flash Kung-Fu without success (trash) I can't solder the STM32 correctly, I have bridges between pins that I can't remove, which solder solution is used ?
You have to use much cheap china amtech flux. With that it should be not a big problem to solder.
that's what I use, put too much on the top of the pins, make the solder go up and create bridges between 2 pins, which is very hard to remove
Well, it still takes some practice, to be honest. But katarakt is right, use LOTS of flux. General rule of thumb is: if you are having problems soldering SMD components, you are using not enough flux.
In your current situation: use solder wick (and flux!) to remove the excess solder. Or if you have a hot air soldering station, remove the IC first and start over.
yes I have a hot air station, about the temperature the shop on Aliexpress warns to be careful not to overheat the STM, what temperature should you use?
I'm using the technique in the video below. Cream flux can also be used instead of the flux pen. A toothbrush is enough to apply the cream flux.
I usually have mine set to 330°C but I only have a cheap 858D clone so I can't even be sure it is actually that temperature. For me it is just the setting that usually works. Also, after you desoldered the IC you will probably still want to clean the pads with a solder wick.

On a different note: this is getting somewhat off-topic again. Maybe it is time for the KFF to get its own sub-section like some of the other popular hardware projects? I think that might make it more natural to open separate threads for questions like these. But maybe that is just my opinion...
Is there a chance being able to save to Easyflash Images in near future - i think this would be the KILLER FEATURE for the Kung Fu Flash Cartridge.
As with the Ultimate Devices it is rather inconvinient having to name and save to a new image by hand.
On a real EF/EF3 you obviously got limited space for images so it would be veeeeery nice being able to save to EF Format with the bigger Kung Fu Cart.
I am getting mine in the near future - looking forward anyway!!

Yes, it would be a nice feature that I would like to have but also one that isn't that trivial to implement. So unless somebody else is working on this you might have to wait a bit longer than 'near' future
So as i am not able to implement Easyflash saving to the Kung Fu Cartridge either: Volunteers first!!!

Okay, I updated my case on Thingiverse and added the two additional files for the rev.2 case. It looks like they need to refresh their cache, though:
hello
I managed to build my Kung Fu Flash with your advices it was a success, but I can not make it work in USB, my PC recognizes it but with a yellow exclamation mark!
if I understood correctly there are no drivers, Kung Fu Flash must be recognized as COMx
There is no need to install a driver, but internet connection may be needed. My Windows 8.1 PC first recognizes the KFF as "Kung Fu Flash" in Device Manager, then searches for its driver. At that moment PC must be connected to the internet, otherwise the driver can't be found and a yellow exclamation mark appears. If PC has internet connection, then the driver is being installed and KFF shows up as "STMicroelectronics Virtual COM Port (COMx)" under the ports section of Device Manager.
