I'm Commodore programmer and user also on real computers.
I have few Qs around C64 and C16
- is possible to set custom ROMs for Kernal, Basic, Chargen?
- JiffyDOS - is possible to use it, if how, and needs JiffyDOS also emulated 1541?
- C16 can have also Function ROMs - is possible to add them? Also use JiffyDOS?
- C16 core looks like supporting 1541, but is not accessible (truth is that I tried on drive 
- how is it?

I dont know, you have to ask Till Harbaum. But i know, that you can use some custom roms on the c16core, like one with ntsc.
The 1541 is accessable. You have to mount a disk image to load it. The 1541 is read only.
Please try to contact Till Harbaum. His name here in the forum ist "MIST". He made the c16 core and is expert for all questions about Atari.
Yes i can see the trouble. Now ia changed the settings. 
Please rename the other kernal to "c16.rom" and place it to the sd card.

Coole Sache! Freut mich dass es wieder neue Entwicklungen gibt.
Slingshot hat die Commodore 8bit Serie übernommen und wird auch den VC20 warscheinlich mit einem Disk Drive versorgen. Netter Kerl und ein richtig guter Programmierer. Schön wieder einen neuen Developer auf dem MiST zu Sehen. Bin zur Zeit wieder einmal im Ausland arbeiten und bin 12stunden Pro Tag unterwegs da bleibt wenig zeit für den MiST welchen ich nich einmal mehr habe da defekt.
Hallo Gehstock, vielen Dank für deine Entwicklungen auf dem MiST, das wollte ich Dir schon lange sagen. Durch deine Arbeit ist der C64 core noch um einiges besser geworden und auch die Arcade cores, die ich nur hier und da ausprobiert habe sind wirklich spannend, weil Du damit ein vollkommen neues Feld beackerst.
Slingshots Entwicklungen sind auch wirklich klasse, allein der ZX8x core war von der ersten Version an unglaublich ausgereift.
