Less than 2 weeks to the (extended) deadline I decided I should at least do one post.
After starting on two ideas in December (see: http://www.goerp.nl/f64pgc2017/helsing_screenshot1.png, http://www.goerp.nl/f64pgc2017/helsing_screenshot2.png) I changed my mind again and will now be entering with a project I started 2 years ago.
It's called 'Kung Fu Pixel' and as you might have guessed: it's a fighting game. It won't look as the other fighting game entry game I've seen.
This is the current state of affairs:
The two TODO's are just nice to have and the three DOING's are not crucial (intro animation, music finetuning and gameplay finetuning).
What isn't visible is the category BUGS, which would be too big to fit on my door. I'm using gitlab for that.
Still, I'm pretty confident I will get the game to a state good enough to enter the competition.
To post at least something about the game here's a screenshot of working on the intro (it's just a silly backstory, a feature most of my games tend to have).
Be warned: the intro is the best looking part of the game
