Unseen,
This is answer to your post 8 in this topic.
I'm really happy you're very active last year in making new versions of SD2IEC firmware (after 4 years of inactivity) making a lot of new nightlies.
But seems that none of these 10 nightlies (avaialble at http://www.sd2iec.de) are not new official version after version 0.10.3 and this is the reason I'm still using this firmware from 2012..
Few questions for you regarding SD2IEC firmware:
1. Which new loaders are supported in new versions of SD2IEC firmware besides old ones (Dreamload, Uload 3, GI Joe loader) existing in 0.10.3?
2. Can you confirm ALL disk-games I found to work with firmware 0.10.3 will work on new firmwares too?
3. If I upgrade, can I later downgrade firmware back to old 0.10.3 if I want to?
4. How many Nostalgia loaders exist, and how many are supported by actual SD2IEC firmware?
Like I wrote here in one post, successful rate to find working versions of small-disk games (1D) with SD2IEC 0.10.3 firmware is 78% (after digging very deep through game versions available at http://www.csdb.dk), and this is very good ratio!
If new SD2IEC firmware has support for some new well-spread disk-loader(s), I will be happy to test large amount of non-working small-disk games with new firmware.
Is it worth it to do it right now with present firmware?
Keep in mind we're speaking here about dozens and dozens working hours for testing those games.
Following described procedure, I made another two games in D81 format.
First one is long lost C64 game they found 23 years after release, and it has very high ratings in C64 magazines - Daffy Duck.
Second one is excellent racing game called Turbo Out Run.
Both of them are trained and have level-skip options. They working like a charm from beginning to the end, and don't even ask you on the screen to change disk(s)

Guys,
In post 7 I gave you a list of all disk-games with multiple D64 images without D81 release compatible with SD2IEC.
Well, seems I didn't erase 30 of them we already have here.
I also erase two of them I just posted here.
So - for now - we have 126 games in D81 format, and need to (if possible) to convert another 502.
C'mon guys, help me with these - it's too much job for one person.
Here's actual list.
Hi folks,
it would be fantastic, if a new firmware can support REL-Files in Images, so that I can put my self-written program in an image onto my sd2iec-Drive.

Fully trained and with level-skip option.
Hello, is this stuff also compatible, this a SD2IEC64 from the CBM CREW, this the Firmware SD2IEC 0.10.3 (V0.10.3 13.06.13), and also this the Ultimate 1541 II ?

Done around 1988 by me, and transferred in 2002 to *.d81 using 1581copy.
The archive also contains a text file with all passwords.

First, Yes! Second, No! The Ultimate has no D81 support!
If you ask me, this is only, but major flaw of 1541 Ultimate.
Really, if you just want to play tape games and most of disk-games, buying quality SD2IEC device with case and Epyx Fastload reloaded cartridge is best option - you will pay both for half of the price of 1541 Ultimate.
On other hand, 1541 Ultimate has REU, can read Easyflash files, can read all disk-games and demos, it supports many fastload cartridges and more. For extra 15 euros you can buy TAP adapter for playing TAP files too.
I should say - all-in-one solution for heavy users, sceners and crackers only.
Thanks for the answer, in this issue.

Please Elvira and Elvira II ,and you are my Hero
Like I said - Elvira is only game I can't squeeze under 500 KB for posting here.

All credits goes to Nostalgia group for making this release.
Of course, it's trained version.
You are my Hero Thanks!
Thank you very much to all, for doing this wide effort making D81 files working in SD2IEC. They are very confortable to use and to load in the device.
I am looking for Wings of Fury version working on SD2IEC, anyone have it?
Thank you very much again.
