But i guess he knows a few things about video rendering under Windows. No matter what front system you use for that, there must be some similarities.

That might be a problem?
If you want the old 8580 emulation, VICE's configure now has a switch `--enable/disable-new8580filter`, which by default is set to disabled.
You'll need current trunk for this.
Just compiled the latest commit and i must say per se the sound is really nice. Did you change anything over the last time? Afair there were some issues with sounds and filters that really sounded meh here. Didn't test much, what i tested sounded good so far. But i changed the default Filter Bias from -3000 to +3000 which totally moved the sound from crap to good. Dunno why you changed it some time ago..
In the current state i just cannot change the values as the sliders are disabled?
And yes, now i noticed the FPS dropped to like 28-35 here.
Sliders are disabled with old 8580 emulation since they have no influence at all. They do work for 6581 and 'new 8580'.

Juat compiled it with the new Filter on, and on +3000 the tune doesn't sound right like before. Tried moving the bias slider, but it didn't get there where it should be.
Anything else i can try to fix this somehow? I could send you a d64 maybe.
Somewhere the new 8580 emulation took a wrong turn, resulting in the "farting bass" effect with some tunes. You can send me the d64, but I'm guessing it is a more general problem. My email is in the sources, grep for 'wassink', my last name.
Is there any way to configure vsid with pseudo stereo playback? For example: On left Channel a 6581, on the right a 8580.
Playing the same tune. So you will have a nice stereo effect because of the different way the SIDs soundalike.

Also sowas wie
Zitat53 -1 5 /* 5 -> 5 */
