My tape and (tweaked) disc game collection joined in one collection called:
SD2IEC Nirvana
First of all. Good work for bringing all files together into this collection. Thanks for the work! GREAT!
Overall success ratio of disc game compatibility with SD2IEC: 78,2%!
One question i have here, cause i have the feeling that the overall-compatibility is even higher in the meanwhile.
Have you calculated the 78,2% ratio only from the game-types which are in your collection (prg, d64, d81)? Or have you calculated things like the big m2i-archiv, for example the one on the Creepitz-side, also into it? Or the lots of IDE64-compatible-made files, for example from the Singular Crew side? There are also ALOT of compatible files, that also work on SD2IEC.
Yes, i know that the m2i-support is gone in the newer SD2IEC-firmware, but the files can be transformed into p00 files and then still works. I have done this with the DOS-program "64Copy V4.46b" for example. The files then are in p00-number-format, but the names can be read normaly when loaded with a fileselector on the SD2IEC. Lots of other people have done the same with the Creepitz archive, i suppose, cause i can remember, that i also saw these files transformed into p00 somewhere on Cloud-64.
Also i know, that not all IDE64-compatible games works on SD2IEC but from own experience i think about two-thirds (66,66%) should work without a problem.
I mention this, cause i can imagine, that not for all games which works on the SD2IEC in the meantime, a d64 or d81 version exists. Maybe there are some, which only a p00 or a IDE64 (single-files in a folder on the SD-Card) version exists at the moment? These then would come also into the compatibility-ratio and then it would be higher. I know, that the available m2i-files was made out of compatible d64-files back in the day, but i am not sure, if really ALL THESE files are in your d64-archive now? Therefore i made the work and transformed my whole m2i-archive into p00 back in the days. Same for IDE64-compatible files on Singular Crew side. There are hundreds and if for ALL THESE files a d64-version exists, i am also not sure. You mentioned the Creepitz m2i-archive before in the thread, so maybe these files are all into the archive here as d64's, but what about the IDE64 archive?
Maybe it would be a good idea, to bring such p00 and IDE64-compatible files also into this great archive here, then it would be the absolut perfect "SD2IEC Nirvana" with really all files that works on SD2IEC?
What you think about it CommFor? I have alot of these files (p00-files made out of m2i-files and IDE64 compatible ones) here, if you want? That all these p00-files works on SD2IEC is sure, but the IDE64-files then must all be tested one time and the ones that don't work on SD2IEC, then deleted. But like i wrote above, the MOST of them work without a problem also on SD2IEC and not only on IDE64 hardware.

AW182,
All disc games from Creepitz M2I archive are in my collection - they are converted back to D64/D81 format with Style's DirMaster.
All IDE64 releases from Singular Crew site compatible with SD2IEC devices are in my collection too - they are also converted back to D64/D81 format with Style's DirMaster.
If you manage to find any disc game compatible with SD2IEC device in D64/D81 format not in my collection, please inform me here or in private. There are literally thousands and thousands tape games in PRG format (Gamebase64 has 25.700 games, less than 1/10 of them are disc games).
SD2IEC compatibility with PRG files is 100%.
I choose best 375 ones according to Lemon64 votes, other web sites, Youtube movies and my memories. -

As i saw on the Singular Crew Warez Side, the IDE64 files get some updates from time to time (new compatible-made games or better versions from existing games), so this can happen.

Yeah, in know. It's clear, that Onefiler ALL works without a problem on SD2IEC.Ah, now i understand. You came to the 78,2% ratio by calculating not ALL onefilers into it, but your 375 ones, right? Cause i think, that the ratio must be nearly 90% in the meanwhile. Offhand i could only name about 10 games which dont have a SD2IEC-compatible version in the moment, more comes not to my mind. Of course i know, that there are more than 10 games, which don't work on SD2IEC, but i think from the best-known and best games, nearly all work. Except some good games from "Magnetic Scrolls" like "The pawn", "Fish" and so on, which sadly dont run until now. Maybe "Stephan Scheuer" must have a look here.
