Moinsen, Inspiriert durch einige YT-Clips habe ich mal wieder meine Amiga-Forever-CD rausgekramt und wieder einmal versucht, die auf meinen alten Dell[1]-Klapptop zu Installieren. Die Installation an sich klappt, sowohl die "COPY2HD" (als quasi Readonly-Live-System) als auch die richtige Installation.
DIe "copy2hd" Installation lässt sich auch Starten und der Amiga bootet dann durch bis zur Workbench. Dabei hat man leider das Problem, das man absolut nicht auf den Rechner zugreifen kann um zB adf's hin und her zu schieben. Das erste verlangen nach einen Nullmodem-Kabel kam auf. Da es aber ein Live-System ist, werden Änderungen am Linux-System bei einen neustart halt verworfen.
Also Installierte ich es richtig. Der Rechner startet, dann kommt ein startx (init 5) und dann ein halt -p.
Mittlerweile habe ich meine Nullmodem-Kabel[2] fertig und kann auch von hier auf den Laptop darüber zugreifen[3]. Nun habe ich endlich die Möglichkeit, mir die Ausgabe von startx mal genauer anzusehen:

Die einträge wo gemeckert wird "Could not init font path element" finde ich in der xorg.conf nicht, sonst hätte ich die schon mal rauseditiert.
Wenn ich das ganze mit "init 5" starte, fährt die Kiste danach komplett runter (halt -p). Ich bin zwar mit Linux recht gut vertraut (seit einigen Jahren Windows-Frei) - aber da stoße ich an meine Grenzen und hoffe, das mir hier eventuell geholfen werden kann

[2] = einfache pin 2<>3 3<>2 5<>5 Verdrahtung mit einen 2m CAT5e Kabel ^^. Läuft!
