    CapFuture1975, The Joker,

On lemon64.com user named skits recently asked for help because he has problems loading disk2easyflash games with 1541U2+, everything works fine with 1541U2:

These are copy-paste of his posts:

    1. "Are there any special settings for the UII+ that should be enabled or disabled to get these to work? I am getting a blue screen after pressing enter on the .crt files and nothing starts. I have drive 8 enabled, jiffy disabled and all built in carts are disabled. I am running 3.1a fw with UII+ on a mk1 reloaded board with a PLAnkton replacement chip in PAL mode. I have downloaded v3.0 of the easy flash conversions."

    2. "I moved from the UII+ to my UII with 2.6 FW, and the converted .crt easy flash games worked fine on it. I even set the UII+ with the same settings as the UII, and I still could not get the games working. It just goes back to the main screen that is blank and gets stuck there. It does not come up with the load command like the UII does."

Can you help to solve this problem, so 1541U2+ users can also use disk2easyflash games?

    Jerry,

Basically, C64 scene in last years is interested to make easyflash versions of new games only, and there are so many old disc-games deserving easyflash treatment ;)

But here we have Santa in form of Master (using nick Klaus Scheuer here), and he's doing hard work properly converting many disc games to EF format fulfilling wishes 8)
You can add The Joker for EF conversions, and practically that's it. :)

(I just use disk2easyflash program to convert them, and whole job is already done).

So, if they find time and will, maybe some of your wishes will become reality :D

I found out, i think: You must also disable "Map Ultimate Audio..."

If it is on, the splash screen from easyflash shows up, then the screen change and nothing furthermore happened.
If you disable it, the CRT will load normally!

The "Map Ultimate Audio..." you find under "C64 and cartridge settings"

    Hi Guys,

Thanks to CommFor for posting my question from Lemon64.com and thanks to CapFuture1975 for the answer. I would had never thought that this feature would conflict with starting these easyflash .crts. I disabled "Map Ultimate Audio" and the crt files worked like a charm on the UII+.

Also thanks for doing these disk2easyflash conversions as it makes playing multiple disk games on the C64 much more fun/easy!
