CapFuture1975, HOL2001, question for you:
Are these almost 30 games in CRT format I posted last week working on 1541U2?
For sure they all work on Easyflash cartridge.
Since I didn't make D2EF games for 5 months, I completely forgot I probably need to make CARTCONV commands (explained in posts 299, 300, 332-335) to make these CRT files 1541U compatible.
For sure it's easy for Alex to do new version of disk2easyflash tool to make these two commands automatically during conversion from disk files to crt files.

Guys,
According to this comprehensive and very informative data-sheet available at http://rr.c64.org/wiki/CRT_ID seems that only Easyflash cartridge supports CRT files compiled with crt-xbank game versions (look row 33).
If this list is true, 1541U2 (with old and new firmware) is not capable of running CRT image filled with crt-xbank game versions.
Questions for CapFuture1975, HOL2001 and other lucky owners of 1541U2:
1. Did you try to make CRT file filled with crt-xbank game versions using NDEF pack and test them on real 1541U2?
2. Are these compilations working or not? -

If you used Version 0.9.2 from posting 317, then it works with the 1541U2.
looks good.

If you add in ndefgui for example 5 xbank CRT files (ID:33), then you get one cartridge file (ID:32)

2. Are these compilations working or not?yes, it works with NDEF and the 1541U2. (It does not work with the old DCM1.0. DCM has some other bugs, do not use it!)

The Joker,
Thank you for answers!
Yes, I did all 30 games posted lately with D2EF v0.92 fix found in post 317, so all games are compatible with 1541U2.

If anyone wonders where the heck I found all these extremely rare disk-games I posted last week here, answer is - Gamebase64, latest version v15!
Instead of 25.000 games in version v14, this collection now has 25.700 games - seems they update GB64 with very large amount of small disk games.
And I went manually through all of 25.700 files (again!) even better than last time to find these D2EF compatible ones!
As you can see, games are posted following alphabetical order - I didn't check games from T to Z yet, and at the end I will check all text adventures too, to finish this story.
It will be done in next week.

Second reason for checking all games in Gamebase64 is to make comprehensive list of big disk-games (2D+).
For your info, C64 has:
1. around 1.800 small disk-games (1D)
2. around 300 bigger disk-games (2D)
3. around 60 pcs. of 3D games
4. around 90 pcs. of very big disk-games (4D+)These numbers are amazing!
I think nobody in C64 history did this list before
I really wish someone makes youtube compilation movies of C64 disk-games only to introduce typical C64 users to disk-wonders on our beloved machine.
Big-ones (2D+) and small-ones (1D) separately.

Two german adventures:

Two adventures:
P. World II (1993)
Open Seas, The (19??) -
Caren and the Tangled Tentacles (2015)
Excellent adventure programmed by Martin Wendt (better known as Enthusi )
Mr. Enthusi wrote in post 374 that he still favors Easyflash format over all others, but obviously don't have time to properly convert his own game to Easyflash
Enthusi, do you prepare some Easyflash releases for us?
Because it's really desert down there!
Even Nostalgia guys didn't make any release in last year.

Hi
I saw this coming:
http://csdb.dk/release/?id=141659&show=trivia#triviaIn fact Caren is being developed as Easyflash cart. I should upload the corresponding version to CSDb I guess.
It is much faster than the disk2ef wrapper if I remember correctly (and supports saving to Easyflash
Please use that one -
Enthusi,
I just read your comment on csdb.dk link you gave for Caren release.
What can I say?
If i read this before, I will not post disk2easyflash release here.Ofcourse proper Easyflash release will be much better
I don't get it that no-one did Turrican Trilogy on Easyflash yet!
Here we have very good disk2easyflash releases of Turrican I and Turrican II, but Turrican III is missing!
Guy who made proper Turrican Easyflash release (Anarchy) promised before almost two years he will make trilogy, read comments here:
http://csdb.dk/release/?id=140446
but he didn't make it.
Enthusi, I saw you post unfinished version of Turrican 3 before 3 months:
Is there any chance you post there xbank-version of Turrican 3?
All three games together will fit 1 MB Easyflash slot perfectly with your compact version of Turrican III
I know this unfinished version of Turrican III crashes after Game Over, but at least it has level-skip option (Restore key).So we can make with NDEF tool our own Turrican trilogy with xbank versions
It's better than wait for eternity for proper Easyflash release of these three games together!Proper Easyflash release of Turrican trilogy collection for sure will be one of the best three Easyflash releases ever!
First two are - ofcourse - Epyx Games Collection by John64 and Cinemaware Collection by Nostalgia.
Another fantastic Easyflash collection will be to have all Rowland brothers games on one cartridge (Creatures, Creatures II, Mayhem in Monsterland and Retrograde).
Any volunteers to become famous for eternity in C64 community to make these two collections for Easyflash?
