  • and i am still waiting for a 100% skate or die and ski or die on one compilation..

but sadly "real crackers" seem to be put down for some reason by d2ef stuff being "released" first so they don't want to put any more efforts in these.

i think there still are a lot of games that would strongly benefit in easyflash format, unfortunately i don't have the skills to do these.

north and south, lately done by thejoker/forum64, is an example on how much more fun a game with "instant memory access" can be.

anyway thanks for all the uploads here!! but still i also hope the are more "proper" ef-releases to come..

    best regards/mfg, ebster.

Isn't that somewhat nonsensical? I mean, if I was a "real cracker" I'd rather feel motivated to show what a proper EF release should look like, particularly when it comes to compilations.
  • Ebster, I agree with GenerationCBM.

It's not conspiracy that present C64 crackers don't want to make proper easyflash release for particular game after they see disk2easyflash release here - it's just they want to do "clean" cracks of games, and they never have time or will to do it, especially when we know they need to crack not only, but few disk-games to fill 1 MB slot of Easyflash cartridge.

I don't see the point some crackers do today, meaning they release XX cracking version of particular disk-game working only with real 1541 floppy or 1541 Ultimate.
And most people today have relatively cheap SD2IEC device at home instead of much more expensive 1541 Ultimate.

C64 groups are notorius for not making their new cracks SD2IEC compatible, and they not have intentions to do it.
    Typical example is Nostalgia.
And they can easily do it, because I found (only few) Nostalgia releases compatible with SD2IEC.
And their releases are really the best ;)

I understand reasons for demos, but don't understand reasons for games for that kind of attitude.

And Easyflash cartridge really offers great game potential, especially for playing big-disk games without disk-swapping and waiting forever to load files from disks.
Even with 1541Ultimate or SD2IEC you need to change disks virtually.

Ofcourse, if there's no D81 version of the game :D

Ebster, why don't we open new topic on forum64.de and list our wishes for Easyflash disc-game collections?
I have approximately 10 on my mind.

Maybe someone of real crackers will make them one day 8)

  • Next 10 disk2easyflash compatible games I found in german cracking group Teamwork and Cooperation (TAC) collection that Klaus Scheuer share with all of us before two weeks in this topic: CMD Anpassungen

I need to test around 300 games for finding this 10.

Thanks to Klaus, Master and other members of TAC!

    First three german games:

Accidentally I found cheat for Hydra:
You need to go up with joystick and press "return" key simultaneously for level-skip.
    "Space" key is for speed-boost.
