The Freezer (1.5) is quite unusable in terms of mounting images and so on ... it's way more reliable to use MOUNT in Basic to get to the point right now, hope this get´s fixed soon 
Just type MOUNT without any extension and the internal drive is mounted as unit 8

Most of the current issues with mounting images/physical disks from the freezer stem from one issue. After hitting return to make a selection of image or driver, etc., the freezer sits in a tight loop trying to unset the protected bit that indicates the internal drive is being used. This bit can only be set by the hypervisor now, so this loop never ends and the freezer hangs.
The work around for using the freezer to mount the internal floppy after it has already been mounted previously (perhaps by being the default in the config menu) is this:
First move down to a d81 and let the freezer preview the contents. This clears the protected bit that indicates that the floppy drive is active.
After that, you can select whatever you like.
If you're already stuck in a frozen freezer (hehe), you can get out of it using the Matrix Monitor (Mega-Tab). Enter:
This will unset the bit and the freezer will continue on.
There's a fix for this waiting to get merged in.
