Question answered ... PCB is sold at eBay for EUR 45 ...

Good!
Have you ever considered a replacement of this PCB that does not have to be equipped with PLA + TRIPORT but with a single CPLD?
In the past I was thinking about replacing the PLA + TRIPORT with a small "L" shaped PCB, that fit both sockets at the same time, with a single CPLD on it.... (the PLA must form particular timings for correct TRIPORT behavior, but CPLD can manage I/O with fewer problems/resources ...)
Have you find a source (seller) for the female port connector?

Question answered ... PCB is sold at eBay for EUR 45 ...
The cheapest prices of my projects can be found on AmiBay https://www.amibay.com/showthr…510T-and-6523-A-(-6525-A)
Now someone on there is asking me for the latest available.
Probably the next lot will having differentiated prices:
A) 15€ KIT only PCB+GAL(without resistor, capacitors, strips, chipset)
B) 20€ KIT only PCB+GAL+resistor+capacitors+strips (without chipset)
C) 25€ ASSEMBLED & TESTED but without chipset ["B)" assembled and tested]
D) 30€ KIT all components
E) 35€ ASSEMBLED & TESTED ready to work ["D)" assembled and tested]
Is it sounding better?
Note: "chipset"=(1x6502A + 2x6522A)

Thanks for your report of your great work and answering on a technical excact niveau!
I like that kind of stuff, but 264series market share seems rather low, so it is really amazing to see that new solutions arise.
I found your board some days ago in ebay and bookmarked it already for a deeper look
Maybe your question on lattice CPLD was because some of my elder activies, -not here in this board- but maybe citated or linked here.
I am using also CUPL (original DOS) for GAL and the lattice "ispLEVER" toolchain for "legacy" 5V CPLD devices.
I also got a "licence timeout" message some weeks ago, but thought it could be renewed like all the years before...
=> i ll try and report if any difficulties arise.
If not at least it could be used inside a VM with "standstill/frozen" RTC.
Also i agree in the idea of using 65(C)22 with register-translation or even "feature-addon" to solve issues with hard to find CSG/MOS parts.
But -as far as i understood- in this forum the stress lies on clock- or even subclock- (=edge-) true solutions.
I for myself agree with you in doing it the "MOS"-style: async & "dirty" but (mostly) working sufficient.
As for your C-Mos-Solution:
Have you tested ALL Kernal functions (also 3+1 Apps of plus/4) for compatibility? Will say if only valid opcodes were used in Kernal and apps and none of the "illegal"/undocumented ones?
Has anybody ever come across C16/116/Plus/4 Software (games, utilities...) which are definitely using such illegal opcodes (the demo scene for sure use those, but out of scope here...)?

@Ruudi
I also developed HW projects for VIC20 and C64, such as "biGAL" (a PLA for C64 that uses 1xGAL16V8 + 1xGAL22V10 ....) but I have suffered violent attacks from people who had to defend their perimeter, I suppose. This pushed me to develop project for "less sold machines" as C16 PLUS4, a world that is less "violent"....
My game is the technical challenge (HW), on "264 world" it started with "85MC01" and a big gamble:
a CPU replacement using ONLY a W65C02S and a EPM7032S (a diode, a resistor, a pair of capacitor..).
It was possible using the bus tri-state features of the W65C02S and a clever using of the EPM7032S (few) I/O pins
https://www.amibay.com/showthr…16-Plus4-work-in-progress
The W65C02S is in production, and it's good, but it's a C-Mos and isn't compatible with a lot of recent SW (illegal opcode behaviour),
so I had to realize the next generation: a N-Mos replacement, but the limit now is the N-Mos processor that has to be found on "OLDs chip market" (translate with: refurbished, relabelled, fakes...).
I had to buy lots of 6502A to find that they can be:
6502
6502A
65C02
R65C02(A)
6502C (sally)
Motorola 6509
and so on....
Remember that a genuine 6502A could doesn't match with 8501 time spec, so (into the buyed lot) I have to find the genuine n-mos processors and test their time response with a memory oscilloscope: only this selected 6502A can be used to correctly replace a 8501...

Have you find a source (seller) for the female port connector?
No, I don't think that will happen anymore. I was asked if I also have a replacement for a defective original board. You can take the card edge connector from a broken original. So that's step one, step two could be a board with a single CPLD. The question is: Is it worth it? I have suitable drop-in solutions for both chips.

Mal ein Paddle zusammengelötet und mit Ersatz bestückt: Läuft.

kinzi Umschlag ist unterwegs. Sobald Du Dein ok gibst, lade ich es auf gitlab hoch.

Wahnsinn was du alles machst

kinzi Umschlag ist unterwegs.
Prima, danke.
Sobald Du Dein ok gibst, lade ich es auf gitlab hoch.
Hrm ... ich wüsste nicht, was es da jetzt noch mein OK braucht, wenn du sagst, es läuft?
