Leider nicht mehr lieferbar.
Ist das der G5?
Den gibts auch bei Mouser, aber Mindestbestellwert, ich habe die hier...

Edit: Wobei... Qualitativ sind die Schalter von Mouser deutlich besser!

The Triple x-pander boards arrived ...
Now I have some questions, I have re-read all pages from 34 up, and now would like to ask which attiny 24,44,84 could be used ??? or it could be any of them, just to burn the right firmware ???
Do some of them have any trouble working ???
And I have one remark, the holes for the slots would be better if they were a little bigger , at least the last 2 ones for the 3-rd slot (Have some desoldered slots from old boards, but they don't fit in the holes, the 90 degrees ones)
The whole thing was intended for the tiny84, but Tiny 44/24 also work if the firmware is compiled accordingly,
the memory and speed requirements are quite low.
I posted the source code here somewhere here, but if you need support just ask.
The holes are of course designed for new slots, but with used ones this could be a bit fiddly.
Best regards Jood
Hallo zusammen,
Mfg Jood
Ich habe hier einen älteren X-Pander 3. Hab es ausprobiert. Damit laufen IDE64 und U2+ zusammen.
Got the attiny 44 ...
Now I'm not a programming guy, so compiling don't play for me, could someone please send a link for the 44 firmware ...
And can I write it with tl48 (the newer 866 programmer) ???
and one last questuion, i hope, the switches you linked 5 posts upper are single row, but on the board there are dual pin holes ... will that fit, and is it even to solder the one row switch or should it be the double row ???
THX
Assembled, programmed ....
But have no LED activity no cartridge activity ... general nothing ...
I think today is better to go to sleep be cause the Easyflash 3 can't be programmed, the triple expander don't work ...
The point of the day is that my SEGA is working, but also ony one from 2 cartridges i got with him ...
Didn't manage to catch : what is the back switch for and what should be his position ???
But have no LED activity no cartridge activity ... general nothing ...
Do you have Firmware für ATTiny44 ?
Should be that: Neues Projekt: Dual-Port Weiche
Mfg Jood
Yes, dowloaded that file and programmed with tl-48, and set the fuses like this ...
What is the back switch for, how should his position be ???

Depends on Firmware, and its complicated...
We use a Triple X-Pander equipped with KFF (slot 1), Retro Replay (slot 2) and CMD REU 512K (slot 3).
The X-Pander has a transparent DMA mode, necessary for the U2+ or 1541 Ultimate menu, this means,
for example, that the Ultimate (middle button) menu is available at any time, even with deactivated slot
or the X-Pander is switched off. But this also means that only one DMA-capable cartridge can be inserted
at a time! DMA-capable cartridges include U2+, 1541Ultimate, or REU.
First the simple things (switch - left), there is only 1 port active at time, change slot is done using reset,
the DIP switch is ignored in this position.
The off position (switch - middle) is a little easier, the X-Pander is switched off (except DMA, see above).
Now the "complicated" part (switch - right), the X-Pander is in group mode, 2 groups are formed via the DIP:
- Group 1 - DIP OFF
- Group 2 - DIP ON
best regards Jood
Worked ...
It seams that it's somthing with my power switch on C64 ...
When I press him up, the carts work ...
1. slot KFF
2. slot EF3
both work on reset press, only when I switch from EF3 to KFF the C64 stops working, only blue screen ...
The last switch is in LEFT position ... dip 1 off, 2 and 3 on ....
If you use Softkernal with EF3 you need to disable this before chnaging slot, otherwise the C64
doesnt have an kernal after switch, and crashes.
That means, using Softkernal with X-Pander, you need to enter EF3-menu BEFORE slot-change.
best regards Jood
Just checked out by myself, worked flawless...

THe thing is I got it to work ...
After yesterday when all went wrong, today I have 100% score
Made an universal programmer for all kinds of chips ...
All of you will hear of it when time comes, now is the case in production, manuals and all what I and my college think that will be needed ...
