I apologise for asking a question that has been surely answered a million times before.
I have been trying to compile this code:
I reworked the code so that it now looks like this:
I am compiling on Linux using CC65. I have captured my 6502 Dev environment in Ansible as described here: https://github.com/rodoherty1/…nvironment/tasks/main.yml
The command I use is this:
$ cl65 -o three.prg -u __EXEHDR__ -t c64 -C c64-asm.cfg three.asm
And my `c64-asm.cfg` file is here: https://github.com/rodoherty1/…s/blob/master/c64-asm.cfg
My question is:
Why dialect of 6502 is this file written in? https://github.com/rodoherty1/…0-%20Tutorial%20Three.asm
Can CC65 compile it or do I need a different compiler like Acme or something else?
I have spent a lot of time getting my workflow together (VSCode + C64Debugger + CC65) and I am working through some basic examples but I have so much to learn.
Thank you for reading my question and any guidance you might be able to offer.
