Question about 0.9 firmware

I'm running a sd2iec based on a LarsP Layout, atmega644P. Looking at the new firmware feature i see a new "remote LCD support". Searched the forum but found nothing about it (and sorry i don't speack a single word of dutch). So' is it a form of "slave" microcontroller piloting the LCD display? Any schematic?

There is a README in the lcd-i2c subdirectory in source archive of 0.9.1 that explains the basic concept and protocol, but there is no schematic. You may be able to deduce one yourself based on the information in lcd-i2c/config.h.

OK, Thanks. As i see it's all very early stage development. I'll try to build a second unit for testing. But i'm not an avr master (hahahah) so i cannot build the code for programm the second AVR. ANy change to have it togeter with the bin package?
