Amiga OS 3.9

Hallo!
Ich brauch mal eben Hilfe oder ein paar Tipps!
Wollte eine 80Gb Platte in den A4000 einbauen! Habe den Buddha Ide Controller.
Mein Problem: Die alte WB 3.1 erkennt zwar die Platte über HD Toolbox einwandfrei aber das Partionieren geht nicht so! Ich möchte ja auch OS 3.5 dann als Update 3.9.

Wie mache ich das am besten mit dem Partionieren? Hat jemand vieleicht eine Bootdiskette mit neueren Treibern für die Sache?

Das ist IMO nicht nötig, da er ja eh OS3.9 installieren will, wo große Platten ja auch so laufen.
Für die 3.1 Installation würde ich erstmal nur eine kleinere Partition (100 MB bis max 2 GB) ganz am Anfang der Platte einrichten, auf diese später 3.9 installieren und erst dann den Rest der Platte unter OS3.9 partitionieren.

So, ich habe eine kleine Partition unter 2GB erstellt und Workbench 3.1 installiert mit CD Rom Treibern u.s.w
Dann habe ich die OS 3.5 CD rein gelegt und er will eine Pre Installation von Ver 3.1 machen! OK habe ich getan aber ich komme nicht zur Hauptinstallation.
Ich soll immer die Pre Inst. machen, wenn ich auf die Hauptinstallation klicke.
Komisch versteh ich nicht??
Das hat doch früher immer geklappt!
Kann mir da einer mal Helfen nach einer Lösung zu suchen?

Keine Ahnung, aber warum installiert Du eigentlich nach 3.1 nicht gleich OS3.9? Wozu der Umweg über 3.5?

Ich habe von OS 3.9 nur ein Update.
Ich habe zwar noch nicht getestet ob ich das auch ohne 3.5 installieren kann, aber so wie ich das in Erinnerung habe sucht der immer nach der 3.5 Version bevor das installieren überhaupt los geht.

Also lt. dem Bild hier kann man das auswählen (-> full install over OS3.0...) - einfach ausprobieren und OS3.5 weglassen

Genau, dieses Bild kenne ich auch nur. Einfach "full installation" auswählen.
Dass es für 3.9 auch eine reine "Update-CD" gibt, die ein vorinstalliertes 3.5 voraussetzt, wäre mir neu.

Hat alles super geklappt, habe einfach das OS 3.5 weggelassen und Voll Installation ausgewählt!

Jetzt muss ich mir nur noch was mit Icons einfallen lassen gefallen mir nicht so!
Vieleicht finde ich hier im Forum ja auch was darüber!

Es gibt mehrere Icons-Systeme für den Amiga
- Standart Amiga Icons in 4 oder 8 Farben
- Magic Icons. 8 Farben mit ner schönen Palette
- New Icons für Systeme bis 3.1, aber auch für 3.5/3.9 interessant (glaub das waren 64 Farben?)
- GlowIcons, das System von und für 3.5/3.9 (256 Farben)
- PNG-Icons / Power-Icons für Icons in 16 Mil. Farben

Da du schon 3.9 drauf hast wären für dich wohl nur die GlowIcons oder PowerIcons interessant. New Icons haben auch nen netten Touch... Aber schau dich mal selbst um

Falls du was fertiges haben willst. Es gab/gibt ne CD-Sammlungen mit Icons. Für >=3.5 ist z.B. die Glow Icons 1 und Glow Icons 2 zu empfehlen. Demos davon gibs auch im Aminet.

Finde dir Glow Icons bestimmt auch im Aminet!
