Amiga und Internet

Hallo

Ich habe da jetzt leider noch mal paar fragen, und zwar ich besitze einen A1200/40 mit Netzwerkkarte und DSL-Anschluss. Als Browser nehm ich den der bei OS3.9 dabei war das Aweb II SE. Ich kann auf viele Seiten nicht gehen da mir die Java unterstützung fehlt. Gibts da was für den Amiga??? Und sowas ähnliches wie den Yahoo Messenger oder ICQ?? Gibts da etwas??
System1: Amiga1200/40 mit 40Mhz. 3,5GB Festplatte, DVD-Burner LG4163B

System2: Amiga2000; 8MB Ram, Kick 2.0 + Kick 1.3; 400MB HD + 210MB HD + 4x Cd-Rom

Da empfehle ich Jabberwocky. Mit ein wenig Fummlei kriegt man damit auch seine ICQ-Kontakte zum Laufen. :)

2 Sachen noch

Das Aweb hab ich jetzt installiert, ich geh auf ne Internetseite, die lädt er auch, wenn er fertig geladen hat, stürzt der Amiga einfach ab.

2te Sache:

Beim Jabberwocky fehlen mir etliche dateien mit .mcc endung. Sowas wie Texteditor.mcc oder so ähnlich. Wo bekomme ich die her?

Kauf dir IBrowse, das hat JaVa-Unterstützung. CSS kann kein Amiga-Browser auf den Classics.

KEIN Amiga-Browser hat Java oder CSS! Javascript-Unterstützung haben IBrowse und AWeb.
CSS ist möglich, hat nur noch keiner umgesetzt (bis auf Sputnik für MOS und einem Browser unter X11 für den AmigaOne). Für IBrowse in der OS4-Version ist es in der Mache.

Die fehlenden mcc-Sachen gehören zu MUI. Das fehlende kannst du da holen: http://www.zerohero.se/

Auf welchen Seiten bist du denn so unterwegs, dass dir Java fehlt? Auf meinen täglichen Touren durchs Internet brauche ich Java so gut wie nie.

Dass Amiga-Browser allerdings immer noch kein CSS unterstützen, ist natürlich schon sehr viel problematischer. Es läuft ja so gut wie keine Seite mehr ohne CSS....

ok, stimmt. Mein letzter Internet-Ausflug per AWeb ist schon zu lange her, aber ich denke, du hast Recht: es sah nur komisch aus, benutzbar war es aber dennoch.

Danke hab ich gemacht. Programm läuft, kann mich aber irgendwie nicht registrieren?? Benutze grade das amigg.lha aus dem Aminet. Hat damit schon jemand Erfahrung? Und beim Gnuyahoo.lha fehlt auch schon wieder was

Eigentlich such ich nur ein programm für den Amiga womit ich mit Leuten die im Yahoo Messenger sind chatten kann, ich will ja nicht nur auf dem PC arbeiten, sondern auch aufm Amiga. Wenn ich für das AmiGG ne Nummer brauche ist es bestimmt sowas wie ICQ oder??? Und das hat mich noch nie interessiert.

Was brauch ich da für ne Nummer?

Hab jetzt das Jabberwocky mal ausprobiert, alle fehlenden Sachen noch besorgt und in die richtigen Ordner kopiert. Dann hab ich mich noch bei swissjabber angemeldet, damit ich einen account habe, und das ende vom lied, es funktioniert nicht. Was habe ich falsch gemacht?

Also mit Jabberwocky kann man ja auch mit Yahoo Leuten chatten, da zeigt er schon mal nix an. Dann kann er sich gar nicht richtig einloggen. Irgendwie steht im Log was von READ ERROR??? und anzeigen tut er Connection resettet. Also ich komm damit nicht so ganz klar. Habs genauso eingerichtet wie es bei Amigaworld.de beschrieben steht, aber ganz so weit komm ich gar nicht um andere Messenger´s mit aufzunehmen
