Komische CIA ...!

Hallo !

ich habe eine CIA , die folgendes Problem hat :

eigentlich funktioniert der Cevi normal , auch C64-DIAC testet alles mit "OK".
wenn ich bei meiner RAM-card (nach 64'er aufgebaut) das Directory laden will,
erhalte ich nur 1 oder 2 Zeichen (die auch undefinierbar sind) und das war's.
tausche ich die CIA gegen eine andere (fast fabrikneue) , dann lade ich mein
DIR ganz normal...

Hattet Ihr sowas schonmal ? Sind da nur ein paar Register hinüber, oder wie
geht sowas ?

Richtig geraten. Für zum CIA Testen, oder eine 1571 geht sie noch.
Wem es beim Bit zählen schwindelig wird, der hat zuviel davon.

Bei der 1571 (nicht vom C128DCR) werden die Ports an der CIA nicht benutzt, Zumindest nicht Serienmäßig. Es muß aber eine 6526A sein, die 6526 ohne A ist zu langsam.
Wem es beim Bit zählen schwindelig wird, der hat zuviel davon.

Achso, jetzt verstehe ich: Du meinst , die CIA kann ich in einer 1571 trotzdem benutzen, obwohl sie den Defekt hat...?
Leider ist es keine "A" nur 6526...schade.

Dann probier es doch mal aus. Es kann auch eine ohne A in der Typbezeichnung funktionieren. Es ist halt nicht garantiert. Aber eventuell ist sie doch schnell genug bzw. der Teil, der in der VC1571 genutzt wird. In der VC1570 würde sie dann gegebenenfalls auch laufen.
