C64 zeigt grün/lila Bild

Hi,
ich hab mir auf dem Flohmark einen C64 braun gekauft. Sah von außen auch sehr gepflegt aus. Laut Verkäufer würde er 100% funktionieren :D
Naja, jedenfalls läuft er bei mir nicht :(
Nach dem einschalten piept der 64er kurz und zeigt manchmal ein hellgrünes und manchmal ein lila Bild an. Woran könnte dies liegen? Also ich hätte spontan auf einen defekten Tuner getippt bin aber kein Expert.
Hat jemand einen heißen Tip?

Das sieht sehr nach einer platten PLA aus, ein typischer fehler.

ich vermute mal so ein PLA war ein Commodore only Teil und kann heutzutage nicht mehr bezogen werden, richtig?
Was macht dieser PLA genau?

Also wenn er piept ist der SID schonmal heile - der Rest beim C64 ist eh unwichtig harhar

Die PLA ist der Adressmanager (Decoder) und kann nachgebaut werden.
Hier im Forum findest du sicherlich eine Bezugsquelle.

nana, moment.
Vernuenftig getunt ist der aber? Klar geht der PLA lieber als anderes mal hinueber, aber ich hab oefter erlebt, dass Leute den HF-mod intern zerschrauben beim "Finetuning" als defekte PLAs.
Aber da bist Du Dir sicher? ich meine ist dsa Bild denn 'sauber' sonst?

Hi,
also inzwischen ist das Bild nach jedem einschalten anders. Mal schwarz, mal gelb, mal grün und ab und an wieder lila. Die Farben sind jedenfalls gleichmäßig und kräftig zu sehen.
Werde ersteinmal bei einem Kumpel den 64er an einen Monitor anschließen. So kann zumindest ein defekter HF-Modulator ausgeschlossen werden.
Falls das nichts bringt, kauf ich mir hier einen PLA und versuche den mal.
